The design of buildings/facilities at the Ananda Center will meet the criteria of green building and sustainable development while preserving the landscape diversity and rural identity of the Krnjak area.
Green (ecological or clean) technologies contribute to environmental protection and the preservation of natural resources, reducing the negative impacts of human participation on the global ecosystem. In the construction of the Ananda Center for Human Development, green (clean) technologies will be applied (through special technical studies/plans) in:
- Construction
- Waste management (separation, recycling, composting)
- Energy and lighting (renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, ecological lighting)
- Water supply and drainage, as well as rainwater and wastewater bio-purification
- Regenerative agriculture and agroforestry
