The art of designing and shaping objects within the Zones is based on the system of Green Building, ensuring sustainability, quality, and economic, energy, and ecological acceptability while respecting the rules of Traditional architecture of the Kordun region.
In designing buildings within the Zones, architectural solutions rely on approaches that promote harmony between human habitats and Nature. They also relate to other dimensions of integrating the morphogenetic field into the environment through the approach of traditional modernism and, to a lesser extent, specific architectural solutions.
The sustainability of the architecture of the Ananda Center is planned to be integrated through:
- environmental responsibility
- coordinated integral approach (from conceptual design and energy concept to detailed design solutions and performance monitoring)
- functional-constructive-aesthetic-energy considerations in architecture
- design for longevity (with new technical and energy concepts) in accordance with bioclimatic conditions
- construction with natural materials (wood, straw, stone, earthen materials, etc.) with minimal impact on the landscape
- understanding of the building area (physical, environmental, spiritual, and intellectual)
- inspiration by Nature, self-sustainability, health, economy, and diversity
- active presence in the enduring present
- monitoring flows, flexibility, and adaptability of humans in Nature
- synthesis of spiritual, sociological, and physical needs of people in the environment
- celebration of landscape diversity
- application of the highest level of energy efficiency and ecological sustainability
The Ananda Center encourages community development through personal contributions in the field of spiritual, social, economic, and social development based on human virtues, and respect for nature. By embracing the values of forming a sustainable settlement that is raised in accordance with the development strategies of the local community and the Karlovac County on green architectural-urban planning solutions (which respect the traditional values of the area), young people and families can be attracted, creating harmony among generations seeking new perspectives of proactive, sustainable, humane, and empathetic society.
